Well, missed one week of blogging ... such a busy, busy week last week and this week is no different, so I thought I'd just hop in and give an update.
Current weight loss in total is 7.6kg, 3.6kg since start of this round and 0.9kg this week alone (and considering I'd fallen off the wagon for two days last week this was a nice result).
We're going interstate for a few days tomorrow and so have got things as planned as I can for this time. We will be eating out each meal but I'm taking enough healthy snacks with me or I will go without snacks if I can't eat the right food. I will endeavour to eat clean while away as we only get back just before next week's weigh in, so will really need to be careful with my choices.
Have to run .. will update when I get back.

Week 1, Round 3 continued - No to the Mars Bar!
Well, it's the day before the start of Week 2, but hey it's been good overall.
Well had a week of basically not exercising due to ill health. I don't count 10 mins day of easy walking to be exercising but that was all I could manage most days.
Friday I downloaded and started the C25K program ... and managed to complete it, was completed out of puff at the end and not many calories burnt but hey, I did it.
Found out that I probably need to put my strap for my HRM through the wash as the amount of cals burnt is not as much as I reckon it should be, but going with what it said for now. Hopefully this will sort any issues out. It's going in the wash NOW, lol.
Did not do SSS yesterday as was up at 4am to leave at 5:30am to go to a function in the city. As my OH was working a few km's away I went with him to his work and then WALKED the rest of the way. That was from behind WCH down King William Road, into King William Street, along the mall, had a cuppa then walked back through the mall, along KWS to North Terrace, down to the railway station, went and got my ticket for home journey, along to the convention centre (where the function was being held) and was there by 7:15am, phew! was a tad warm but had my water with me :o).
Had a ball at the function, lunch was not edible for me (way too many cals) but just in case I'd taken an egg and a slice of burgen bread for lunch (or a snack) so had that for lunch and had another coffee but inside the lunch bag was a MARS BAR!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh My Goodness was THAT tempting!!! But I was strong, I put it in my handbag and took it home and gave it to my OH!!!! I was so proud of myself for resisting that temptation for MORE than 5 HOURS!!! Just goes to show how strong we can be doesn't it, lol.
When I got home I heated up some left over lasagne (yummm) for dinner for us both. Then set to work making birthday cards for the 2 little boys next door (they have birthdays 2 days apart ... one is now 5 the other is 3) so they have similar but different cards based on the circus, lol.
Hmmm, wonder if I can post a photo of one or both here, will try:

So that took me a little while last night and so by the time I got to bed I was exhausted but had a great sleep until 5am ON A SUNDAY!!!!! Oh well, got up (as couldn't stay in bed any longer) and did a couple of things then went back to bed and slept until 8am which for me is a great long sleep in :D and feeling fantastic!!
Time to get moving ... more later.

Week 1, Round 3
Well, what a week since last I wrote. I still have laryngitis but it's finally on the mend!! So, Week 1 is here. There have been some great times this week and some not so great.
Great things this week ... I lost 1.6kg from previous week, total so far of 5.7kg gone-ski YAY, WOO HOO!!
I've enjoyed the majority of the recipes this week, there are a couple I'll leave some bits out of in future (eg the salad dressing ... don't like the taste or texture, I don't usually have any dressing on my salad so that's okay, I'll just leave it off). I've made the lasagne tonight (Jen's) and have been given Nat's to try next time ... maybe even tomorrow I'll make it. It sounds yummy scrumptious too, in fact I think I will like BOTH. As usual I've had to leave out the orange veggies (ie carrot, sweet potato etc) otherwise I'll throw up trying to eat it, nasty side effect of these - had this from birth and still can't digest these.
Fantastic live hook up the other night, lots of great information from Mish and some interesting questions from the 12wbt'ers online at the time. I've listened to the podcast a few times now and still get more out of it each time I listen to it.
Week 2 has opened with shopping list, menu's, recipes and exercises today. All printed off (except exercise) so I'm ready for shopping tomorrow.
Not so good this week. The fact I'm still sick. Have been lucky and working from home a lot, went in to work yesterday (first time since last Thursday) left a little early, got home (screaming headache by this time), tried to ease it but couldn't. Took panadene forte and went to bed around 6pm thinking I'd only be an hour or two, got up at 6am!!!!! So, the benefit of that? I was UNDER with calories for the day as I'd only had 2 meals and one snack. I also was a bit dehydrated when I woke up so drank (slowly) 750ml water. Also not so good this week was exercise as other than the Fitness Test I did no exercise until yesterday, when I did 45 mins of Mish's DVD. Today no exercise again. Will do tomorrow though as need to "get moving" more. I think I'll go back to Wii Active as that really gets me huffin' and puffin' when it's cardio or groaning when it's strength/toning.
Had a great laugh tonight reading a post in the forums, my ribs are hurting I laughed so much. Also, just picture this, there's me with laryngitis laughing so hard there are tears streaming down my face, my OH, who had gone to bed, came rushing out because the noises I was making (I couldn't help this) he thought I was being very ill or in deep trouble and needing help. I tried to tell him I was laughing but couldn't get the words out, he thought I was crying and in distress, it took several seconds for him to understand what I was trying to say. His response of 'humph' and the puzzled look on his face set me laughing again lol :D.
Enough for today, more another time.

Almost Week 1 now
Woo hoo. Week 1 is open and the shopping list, meal plans and recipes are all there as well as exercise plans.
Shopping was completed last night after work. I'll be starting to make some of the meals tonight and freezing/refrigerating them for during the week. I'll also be making a heap of soup for quick/easy meals.
Have not been well this week. Tuesday had migraine which kept going throughout Wednesday. Kept losing my voice at work Thursday and today no voice, feeling dizzy and totally unwell so home today again! Exercise on hold as too dizzy to walk let alone exercise so I'm very disappointed with this. Still it's better to let myself get well again and then I'll kick my behind into gear again. Hopefully I'll be able to exercise again tomorrow!!!
Am so excited to be starting my journey in earnest now. It was PAINFUL waiting for Week 1 to open yesterday ... it took soooo long but eventually it was opened and was just in time for me to go shopping after work (yay). So glad that I was able to get just about everything (except egg whites???) still I can always remove a yoke from an egg if needed urgently until I find what these are and where to get them.
I have decided to try each recipe and only substitute or leave out ingredients if they are ones that I have reactions to or really cannot abide the taste/texture of. I will also only substitute a meal if the above is the majority of the ingredients as it will be quicker/easier this way.
I'll be doing my testing on Sunday as part of my exercise pattern this week as I've not exercised today.
Enough for now, will post more when I've got my @ss into gear with all this.

Pre-Season - Week 4, Monday
Well we're into the final week of pre-season. I've had a mixed up weekend. I've been as careful as possible with my choices of food, however the selection to choose from was not that good for two nights during a special period with friends watching the major show of the year from Germany. I did, however, eat as minimally as I could both nights while there (by having a small snack of around 100 calories before going each night) and was careful with liquids too ... total of 3 naughty drinks over 2 days/nights.
I smashed 500 calories yesterday morning with Wii Active 2, boy what a great workout that was. I felt really pumped all day. Today is my rest day this week to allow my body to recuperate after yesterday's session. But back into that workout tomorrow for sure!!! I must admit I did have a VERY red face at the end of the session but went for my shower (a cooler one than usual I must admit, lol) and cooled that face down quite quickly after that.
So, now that's 2 days in a row burning over 500 calories but yesterdays was in ONE session. I was hoping to have a bike ride yesterday too but as it was father's day and we had people in and out of the house all afternoon that wasn't possible. Even though it's my "rest" day today I may go for a ride tonight when I get home if it's not too dark by then.
Time to go get ready for work. Bye for now :D
